'Single surface from mesh' in RhinoResurf is a very robust functionality, which can reconstruct a singe NURB surface from a selected mesh with very few control point number, and the precision is very high. Also, the selected mesh model is allowed with holes. The followings are some cases. In the following pictures, all the picture in left are mesh model, and the surfaces are shown in the right picture. In the two end pictures, we showed a demo for a mesh model with two holes and the converted smooth surface ignoring the two holes.
