FAQ 1 - Why RhinoResurf register dialog does not display in my Rhino

RsSymmetricPlane

Command description:

This command helps user create symmetric plane on mesh or point cloud model.

To create symmetric plane on mesh or point cloud model:

1. Click Create symmetric plane on mesh/points from the RhinoResurf menu or type RsSymmetricPlane at the Rhino command prompt.

2. Click left-mouse button to select a mesh or point cloud, then click right-mouse button.

3. Three planes will be created and displayed.

4. User choose the right symmetric plane which they want by removing the other two planes.

Three planes were created by calling the command RsSymmetricPlane:

The right symmetric plane was choosed and left by user via removing the other two planes:

After running the command _MeshSplit, the mesh was seperated into two parts by the symmetric plane:
